We were asked to provide communications at each mile marker along the 13.1-mile course, hence 13 "rest stops."

The weather was very cold (38 deg F) and windy (20-30 mph) but that didn't deter the runners. We were grateful to be able to sit inside our warm vehicles and operate the radios! |
