Treasurer’s report. The Treasurers Report for April 2021 as published in
the HOTLINE was filed.
Committee Reports:
· ARES: Paul Collins KG5DHS announced that Zachary Bolin W5ZAK has
been added to the ARES roster. We are expecting a pretty active
weather season.
· Trailer Committee: No report
· Repeater Committee: No Report. David Bush KC5UOZ has replaced
the control module out of the backup power generator. New one
is under a maintenance contract. The GENERAC self-tests weekly
every Tuesday at 01:45. Everything comes back online
automatically. Room needs to be cleaned. 2 racks need to be
added and the new DMR repeater will go into one of those racks.
The building has some electrical issues; the wires from the
Breaker panel to the generator switch panel are just wire nutted
in a junction box. The A/C was not wired to code. There are
Ground and Neutral bonding issues that are priority. Electrical
work of around $900 to bring it to code.
· Web Committee: No update
· ATV: David Bush KC5UOZ is still working on the simplex repeater. He proposes some upgrades to allow for the meeting to be seen
via zoom and Amateur Television locally. Plans include a widescreen TV, 3 cameras, and a computer running VMIX software.
He proposed splitting the cost of an internet connection to the clubhouse.
· Education Committee: No update.
· Public Relations: no update
· Special Events: Field Day. Discussion in the program.
Unfinished Business: none
New Business: Bill Feltenberger KD5UEW made a motion that the club pay up to $600/ year for internet service. It was seconded by
Ruth Bush KF5PGJ. Motion carried unanimously. Seth Byas had a completed membership application. Upon a motion by Bill
Feltenberger KD5UEW, seconded by Mike Davis KI5EIW, and a unanimous vote, Seth Byas’ membership application was
accepted and he is now an associate member.
Meeting Adjournment: President Jeb Leutwyler KG5WHS adjourned the meeting at 7:30pm.
After the meeting: A brief Field Day planning session. We plan to participate as a club. We will hold Field Day at the Club House. We
need a head count ASAP. 1 trailer workday prior and one after. Equipment, coax, and the generator all need to be tested.
