Hi HOTARC!
What is NET CONTROL? I will be conducting a brief training
meeting after the conclusion of our regular meeting. I plan on
covering a few basics of NET CONTROL. Everyone is invited
but all ARES members are encouraged to stay. Should only take
a few minutes. I look forward to seeing everyone!
Tropical Update. We are in hurricane season prime time! There
will be a significant hurricane in the Gulf as you are reading this.
Soon to be Hurricane Helene may be a Category 3 storm
expected to make landfall by Friday. The National Hurricane
Center is still calling for 16-20 named storms this year.
As always, the ARES team is ready to deploy if needed. Thanks
to everyone who is part of the team!
